COVID-19 Updates
VISITOR RESTRICTION NOTICE (Effective 4.1.2021)
We continue to limit visitors in our office. However, on the most recent guidance from NYS DOH, a visitor may accompany the patient when indicated or required. Each patient/companion should continue to wait in their car, especially if our waiting rooms are overburdened. All other parties must wait in their vehicle. Thank you for your cooperation. Please contact the office at (315) 464-4472 if you have additional questions or need further clarification.
MASK ADVICE AS OF 5.19.2021
With restrictions lightening up, our office is still considered a medical facility. We will still require patients and visitors to wear masks in the building and at checkout regardless of if you have been fully vaccinated or not. Thank you for your cooperation.
Upstate Orthopedics understands that amid concerns regarding COVID-19, it may be difficult to see a provider for a traditional in-office visit. Upstate Orthopedics will be functioning as an orthopedic urgent care facility to lessen the burden on the local emergency rooms, as well as seeing patients for non-urgent, routine orthopedic injuries or issues.
Telemedicine
Telemedicine allows you to speak with one of our providers, live and face-to-face, from the privacy and safety of your own home. Utilizing the doxy.me telemedicine app, Upstate Orthopedics providers can now speak with patients via smartphone or through a home computer with a camera. Patients and medical providers are encouraged to call the OrthoConnect call center to schedule an orthopedic telemedicine or face-to-face visit based on the urgent orthopedic issue/injury or routine orthopedic issues. The call center will be open from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (Monday-Friday).
To learn more, make an in-person visit or a telemedicine video appointment, call Upstate Orthopedics at (315) 464-4472. The OrthoNOW! After-hours Walk-In Program for acute injuries is also open Monday-Friday, 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm and Saturday, 9:00 am - 2:30 pm (no Sunday hours).
