
Thomas Harley, son of hand and wrist orthopedic surgeon Dr. Brian Harley, won a silver medal in Men’s Ice Hockey with Team Canada in the 2026 Olympic Winter Games.
Dr. Harley hails from Alberta, Canada, and his wife, Stephanie, is from British Columbia. They moved to the United States when Dr. Harley began his Hand Surgery Fellowship at Upstate Medical University and they settled in Jamesville where they raised their family. Thomas moved to Ontario for junior hockey, and has represented Canada on the 2021 World Junior U-20 Championship silver medal team and the 2025 4 Nations Face-Off winning squad.
Harley currently plays for the Dallas Stars where he was selected in the first round of the 2019 NHL Draft.
